Big Brother 1 Canada

15 Housemates entered the House at the launch of Big Brother 1 Canada. This is the sixth main edition of Big Brother in Canada, although the first one to use the Big Brother name. There has also been one All Star edition.

The Housemates were - Amélie, Andy, Christian, Éric, Fey, Jean, Jonathan, Josée, Lyvia, Marie-Élaine, Sandra, Stéphanie, Vickie, Vincent & Vinny.

The rules for this edition are as follows:-

• Housemates compete in a competition and the winner becomes "Number 1".
• "Number 1" is immune from the eviction and must choose a "Number 2" who will also be immune from the eviciton.
• "Number 1" must choose the first and second nominees. "Number 2" must choose the third nominee.
• The Housemates then compete in a competition to determine the Power of Veto winner.
• The Power of Veto holder can save one of the nominees and replace them with a Housemate of their choice.
• All Housemates except for "Number 1" vote for which of the nominees should be evicted.
• The nominee with the most votes is evicted. If there is a tie then "Number 1" has the casting vote.

• Andy, Josée and Sandra are up for eviction this week
